Abstract: | In this paper we study both, analytically and numerically, the spatio-temporal dynamics of a three interacting species mathematical model. The populations take the form of pollinators, a plant and herbivores the model consists of three nonlinear reaction-diffusion-advection equations. In view of considering the full model, as a previous step we firstly analyze a matualistic interaction (pollinator-plant), later on a predator-prey (plant-herbivore) interaction model is studied and finally, we consider the full model. In all cases, the purely temporal dynamics is given meanwhile for the spatio-temporal dynamics, we use numerical simulations, corresponding to those parameter values for which we obtain interesting temporal dynamics. |
