| Abstract: | A general screening for secondary metabolites was carried out with the leaves and stems of Aphelandra aurantiaca Scheider. Several compounds were isolated and identified: coumarin derivative (scopoletin), four flavonoids (chrysin, eucalyptin, gnaphalin, nevadensin) and p-coumaric acid in form of an ester with glucose. |
