Abstract:	A new species of swift (Cypseloides storeri) is described and given the English name Whitefreonted Swift. It apparently is most closely related to C. cryptus of Central America and northern South America. It is known freom four specimens obtained in Michoacan and Guerrero in southwestern Mexico.
