Abstract:
Hydnodon thelephorus is redescribed based on specimens from Belize, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. New data on macro and micromorphology as well as on spore ornamentation under SEM is provided. Its systematic affinities are discussed and its overall distribution is reviewed.
