Amanita longitibiale- A new species of Amanita section Phalloideae from central México and Southeastern USA

Abstract

Amanita longitibiale is described as new from central Mexico and North Carolina, U.S.A. In Amanita section Phalloideae, it has the unique combination of cylindric spores, pigmented pileipellis, slender and radicating stipe bulb, and saccate volva.
