Abstract:
Marsdenia gallardoae, a new species of Asclepiadaceae from Chiapas and Oaxaca in southern Mexico, is characterized by a densely puberulent corolla interior and absence of a callus in the sinus within the corolla. It shares with Al. trivirgulata Bartlett foliar characteristics and the color of the flower.
