GENERALIZED HYDRODYNAMIC MODEL OF INHOMOGENEOUS CONDUCTORS IN 3, 2 AND ONE DIMENSIONS

Abstract

We generalize the hydrodynamic model to degenerate electron gases of inhomogeneous conductors in three, two and one dimensions. The limit of sharp interfaces yields expressions for the additional boundary conditions (ABCS) and settles long standing controversy.
