dc.description.abstract Developing seeds of Ipomoea purpurea were analysed for proteins from anthesis to maturity. The total amount was highest at maturity en_US
dc.description.abstract albumins were predominant, followed by globulins and prolamins. At the begining, the proteins occur in the seed covers. Later they appear in large amouns in the embryo, especially around the procambium, the epicotyl and very conspicuously in the cotyledons. At naturity, intense staining occurs in the testa and in the embryo, particularly in the cotyledons. en_US
